Delight In The Distilled Spirits Of The Central Coast




Paso Robles, California is an amazing place to call home, and to visit. Wine tours in Paso Robles are very popular, but recently many people have discovered that our area also has the Paso Robles Distillery Trail.  The distillers of San Luis Obispo County is gaining momentum as an up and coming scene of crafters making delightful and unique alcoholic beverages for people to enjoy.


Have a great time on our Paso Robles Distillery Trail for a taste of something new and different in a historic location full of friendly folks and fabulous drinks!



Krobar Craft Distillery - Paso Robles


This tasting room has a vintage bar, owned by Stephen Kroener’s family. The distillery is located behind the tasting room for the Silver Horse and Barton Family wines property. Distiller Joe Barton creates a lovely brandy, gin, barrel-aged gin and rye whiskey at the bar ($15 for tasting). The two men are making their own aperitif wine, vermouth and bitters on top of that.

Pendray's Distillery - Templeton



Passionate owners Steve and Lola Glossner make their delightful and unique brandy in Templeton. Feel free to taste the liquor in the PasoPort Wine Co. tasting room (no charge), visitors can see where the brandy is aged in port barrels.

Re:Find Handcrafted Spirits - Paso Robles



Re:Find Handcrafted Spirits operates out of the Villicana winery, known for making limoncello, vodka and gin, all distilled from grapes. Taste and learn with owners Alex and Monica Villicana on everything you ever wanted to know about distilling alcohol and barrel aging.

Red Soles Stillhouse - Paso Robles


At Red Soles Stillhouse, owners Randy and Cheryl Phillips make a delightful limoncello and two brandies, one even containing the delicious spice cinnamon. They proudly share hundreds of ribbons and accolades for the wine and spirits on display in the tasting room.

Wine Shine - Paso Robles



At the tasting counter you will find brandy, watermelon vodka, pluot brandy and other drinks co-owner Patrick Brooks had cooking in the distillery.

Bethel Road Distillery - Templeton





Currently the distillery is run by the Udsen family, who lovingly create their hand-crafted house brandy, grappa di moscato and grapa di primitivo, now you can taste what everyone raves about. Bethel Rd. is the perfect spot to enjoy craft spirits and wine.

The Distillery at Opolo - Paso Robles



Expertise and precision describes the distiller Paul Quinn at Opolo. Making pear Brandy, Grappa Lozovaca and organic walnut based liqueur, Nocino. They are very proud of the fruit based brandies they create.

Azeo - Paso Robles



Their well known Vodka 100-percent distilled from apples or grapes, brandy, rum and apple brandy are high on the list of many visitors to the distillery trail. The distillery name is actually short for the term “azeotropic distillation,” known to produce a cleaner flavor in spirits.

Manucci Spirits and Distillery - Paso Robles



Found at the Wild Coyote Estate Winery, the brandy is made from the grapes after fermentation. Their grappa is a clear spirit, to be enjoyed and sipped slowly, some say it has a buttery, pecan finish. The delicious and refreshing Limoncello is made with an old recipe, passed down, and the lemons are locally sourced. All natural ingredients infuse their selection of brandy, in flavors such as pomegranate, star anise, espresso coffee beans, habanero and garlic.

Autry Cellars - San Luis Obispo



Autry Cellars of San Luis Obispo has been in the wine business for some time, and recently released their own brandy. Visit the casual winery to sample the collection. Home to a nice selection of brandy and dessert wines to please your palate.  Autry Cellars also became the first and only winery in the Edna Valley licensed for brandy production,  brandies and Grappa have become popular additions in the tasting room.
